Hi, I’m Kasie.

I’m a writer, stargazer, psychology graduate, and collector of hobbies. I love astronomy, mahjong, coloring, bingo, karaoke, and following whatever happens to spark my curiosity next.
I grew up in Naples, Florida, and graduated from Palmetto Ridge High School in 2018, where I played both JV and Varsity girls basketball. Once a Bear, always a Bear.
After high school, my path to college wasn’t exactly a straight line – and I’m glad it wasn’t. I started at Florida Gulf Coast University, transferred to Florida Institute of Technology to study astronomy, and eventually found my way to Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, Georgia. In 2023, I graduated from GSW with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in education.
Astronomy never stopped being part of my world just because it stopped being my major. I’m still fascinated by the stars, space, and all the questions that come with looking up.
I’m also a writer and am currently working toward finishing my first novel, May and the Ocean Moon. This website is a place for me to share my writing, my interests, the things I’m learning, and probably a few rabbit holes along the way.
I’m autistic, which is part of the way I experience and understand the world. It’s part of my story, but it isn’t the whole story. There are a lot of things that make me me – and you’ll probably meet most of them here.
Welcome to my little corner of the universe!
